The people of Funua Senatorial District are calling for urgent action. Our elected representatives, Senator Mukhtar Mohammed Dandutse and Honorable Aminu Mohammed Ibrahim, have failed to address our community's pressing needs. It’s time to hold them accountable.

  • Rampant Insecurity: Frequent armed robberies, banditry, and kidnappings threaten our daily lives.

This petition is brought according to Sections 69 and 110 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).

PETITION FOR THE RECALL/WITHDRAWAL OF SENATOR MUKHTAR MOHAMMED DANDUTSE, HONORABLE AMINU MOHAMMED IBRAHIM

 

Dear Sir.

 

We, the undersigned registered voters/electorates of Funua Senatorial District, hereby submit this petition according to Sections 69 and 110 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).

We are compelled to express our collective loss of confidence in the representations of:

 

  1. Scnatur Mukhtar Mohammed Dandutse (Funua South Senatorial District)
  2. Honorable Aminu Mohammed Ibrahim (Malumfashi/Kafur Federal Constituency)

 

We regret to inform you that these representatives have failed to demonstrate any meaningíul presence in our communities, leaving us feeling neglected and abandoned. Despite our electoral mandate, they have not addressed our basic needs, and their absence has exacerbated the current hardships in our region.

 

Consequently, we are faced with.

 

  • Widespread hunger and malnutrition
  • Increased child mortality due to lack of access to medical care and adequate nutri
  • General deprivation of basic life necessities
  • Rampant insecurity, including
  • Frequent armed robberies and banditry
  • Kidnappings and ransom demands
  • Persistent threats to lives and properties

 

In light of these circumstances, we respectfully petition for the recall/withdrawal of the aforementioned representatives from both the national and state legislative bones. We request that this petition be considered and acted upon in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Constitution.
